Introduction

First of all, my resume provides complete information about my education and work experience in the field. It contains a detailed description of my work as a Registered Nurse, including a description of my competencies and responsibilities in a clinical setting. Separately, all the skills that I have and are relevant to the position of a Registered Nurse are highlighted. Additionally, my resume begins with a summary of what competencies I have and what the employer can expect from me as an employee. I think that my resume speaks of me as a knowledgeable and experienced professional who strives for continuous development. Additionally, it highlights my emphasis on providing the highest quality care and patient settings in a variety of settings.

Discussion

In professional nursing practice, the role of professional organizations is extremely important, as it allows professionals to exchange experiences, as well as bring important changes to the healthcare environment. In particular, organizations such as the American Nursing Association, the American Academy of Nursing, the National League for Nursing, and others provide guidance and support for professionals (American Academy of Nursing, n.d; American Nurses Association, n.d; National League of Nursing, n.d). There are also nursing associations within the state, such as the Virginia Nurse Association (Virginia Nurses Association, n.d). These organizations are important to me because they allow me to participate in bringing significant positive changes to the healthcare environment.

Conclusion

Cultural considerations associated with the chosen professional organization are the need for collaborative work to expand the cross-cultural competencies of nurses. Within the framework of the nursing association, professionals need to work on expanding educational options for acquiring cultural competencies. Group-specific learning is an important aspect to bring about positive change in the clinical environment. Spirituality, there is also a need to expand programs that would allow professionals to expand their knowledge of various spiritual groups. Ultimately, these activities may contribute to improving the quality of care.
