The country is widely known for its agriculture and acres of land. Cities are based on industrialization and rarely have open lands because of the buildings. Living in the city, there will be more diversity and cultures. The country tends to be more religion-based and conservative. Concerts and festivals take place in cities and keep everyone entertained. Depending on the persons qualifications, the city proves to be the better choice. The country roams with animals anywhere from a chicken to a bear. The city has more benefits, such as more job opportunities, more stores nearby, and more available housing.

When it comes down to jobs, the city gives more variety. Since there are more factories, hospitals, and businesses, it becomes easier to get hired. Sometimes, these jobs will offer a higher minimum wage depending on the career. This makes living more comfortable and suitable for more people. Having more job opportunities makes the city more appealing to a diverse amount of people. Higher pay means more money and opportunities, which leads to less stress. With more job opportunities, people with lower experience have a better chance of being hired. When someone is first trying to find a job, they will often get turned down from limited space in the business.

Since the country consists mostly of small towns, fewer job opportunities are available. The country generally hires more people into construction that will pay minimum wage. It can be harder to get hired in the country because there are not a lot of open positions. This will require the person to have more experience to get hired. Having a job is important to make money and afford expenses. If someone is just beginning to look for their first job, they will have a very hard time doing it in the country. This leads to homelessness and poverty in the country’s small towns.

Both the city and the country have many jobs to offer. But, depending on what someone is interested in or has a degree in will change where they live. Construction is an ever-growing job field in all areas of the country. Mostly available in the country though, making it a lower-income area. The city has construction as well, but some of the jobs offered in construction are more dangerous. Little businesses that are just starting will offer jobs to anyone who will accept them. Making it a great area for jobs, the city also has small businesses, but most of the time, the positions will already be filled.

Being able to commute from place to place in a reasonable time becomes important. Gas money can get very expensive when your career or commute calls for a great distance. Living in the city helps people save gas money to spend on other things. It would benefit a person more to live in the city to save on gas to commute to their job or other activities. Having everything close to someone allows them to do more activities that are entertaining. Driving ten minutes away to a grocery store is way better than an hour away. Money can now be spent on more important qualities, not on gas.

When someone lives in the country, they tend to spend more money on gas. This, in return, takes more away from spending money on other important things. Driving farther distances takes more time, which will waste a day. Although the land will be pretty to look at while driving, the amount of money spent on gas will not be pretty. Driving far distances puts more mileage on the car. This will wear the car out faster because of the increased mileage. In the country, people often experience extreme weather. With that being said, it will be harder to commute when the weather is bad. People sometimes cannot go out because of the weather, so with the great distance and weather combined, no one is going anywhere.

Gas is a resource that every source of transportation will need, besides walking or driving electric cars. Both the city and the country offer stores or activities, but the distance from them is what makes them different. People who spend a lot of money on gas often have no extra money to spend on other things. Public transportation is offered in both the city and the country, but in the country, you will have to walk farther to catch a ride. People in the city save more on gas by living closer to their jobs or other activities they participate in. Cities have a greener environment and experiment with eco-friendly cars. Cities put charging stations out for electric cars that do not take any gas at all.

When finding somewhere to live, I believe that the city is the better choice. The amount of homes in the city is way higher than the amount in the country. There is a greater amount of people in the city, more housing is built to accumulate the population. With more housing available, the price of them will be cheaper because they need to be sold. This allows people to save money for other things. The housing will be closer to stores and jobs as well, this will benefit the people. With more houses, people can begin families with their spouses. This will make a great community and pull everyone together.

The country has limited numbers of housing because of the population. Fewer people live in the country, so fewer houses are built to suit them. Farming takes up most of the land in the country, so building houses on that land cannot be an option. With a small number of houses available, fewer communities can form. Neighborhoods are rare in this country because the houses are so spread out. Only certain areas have neighborhoods, others just consist of a town. The houses in the country are often already bought and out of date. This means the houses will need renovating, which may be quite expensive. However, with the low income of the country, people will not be able to spend money on renovation.

The country and city are similar in the aspect of having houses to live in. Shelter is a basic need for humans, so having it is important. Although both of them have a different amount of housing, people are still able to live in both areas. If someone prefers to live in the middle of nowhere, they will more than likely choose to live in the country. However, people who prefer to live in a big community with activities close by will choose city life. Some people prefer to live in the country because they feel secluded and safe. Since most of the houses are in the middle of nowhere, the sound of cars or people is basically eliminated.
