Schizophrenia is a common mental disorder among the young males and females. Therefore, for this paper, I will be finding out the various effects of Schizophrenia on the young adults. Among the effects that will be further investigated include victims withdrawing from their peers and relatives, dropping out of school and declining performance at school, and difficulties in sleeping. In addition to those factors, a question of interest will be. Does Schizophrenia contribute to the increasing rates of deaths among the young people?

Like any other disorder, especially other mental illnesses, Schizophrenia must have its causes. Therefore, I would wish to find out the causes and factors that trigger the occurrence of Schizophrenia. Other answers that I would be in search of will be the major contributors or factors that enhance and cause the disease. The specific will be the triggers of Schizophrenia which will be either physical, genetic, emotional, or environmental elements. In addition to this, I will be in search of the explanations of how various factors that have been pointed out by different researches as primary causes of Schizophrenia among young adults.

The factors that I will look into include genetic. Structural changes in the brain, including minor differences in brain structure, contribute to developing Schizophrenia. Birth complications and pregnancies among young females. Chemical changes or insufficient neurotransmitters limit the movement of signals between the brain cells. Drug use, abuse, and addiction among the youths. According to McCutcheon et al. (2020), Schizophrenia has been confirmed to affect about twenty million individuals across the globe.
