Infectious diseases pose a range of threats to public health, therefore, representing a major threat to be addressed. Thus, the measures aimed at curbing the rates of contracting infectious diseases and exposing vulnerable groups to them must be regarded as a crucial part of managing public health concerns. Presently, several strategies for the prevention and control of infectious diseases exist. Among the key ones, immunization and building awareness must be mentioned, whereas the problems of low health literacy and the lack of available immunization options should be regarded as primary obstacles to managing infectious diseases as a health threat (Nakkazi, 2020). Therefore, public education regarding health management issues along with the financial support offered to ensure that the available range of immunization tools and materials remains plentiful should be considered essential. For this purpose, collaboration with global organizations such as WHO must be accepted.
