Instructions
You will film yourself delivering a five to seven-minute speech to your recruited audience. You must use and cite (using oral citations in your speech) at least two published references to support your key ideas. Be sure to incorporate any relevant peer and instructor feedback from the previous session’s speech into this session’s speech so that you can demonstrate growth in your speaking abilities.

Please review and follow the Course Requirements from Session 1 Setting Yourself Up for Success and the Technology Quick Guide for additional recording information.
Your five to seven-slide PowerPoint presentation must be a part of your presentation.
If you are able to project the PowerPoint, be sure that you and the projected PowerPoint can be seen in the video.
If you are not able to project the PowerPoint, provide handouts of your PowerPoint presentation to your audience member(s), and make sure you reference which slides you are on as you give your speech.
Create & Embed Video
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and go to the Comments section and click on the Insert Stuff icon. Then select Embed Kaltura Video to record and embed your video. For additional help, see the Technology Quick Guide located under Help in your course navigation Bar.
Submission Requirements
Embed your video and attach your PowerPoint. Include your PowerPoint Presentation as an attachment using the Add File button.
The PowerPoint presentation you create for this speech will need to include a cover slide and reference slide in addition to the five to seven content slides.
Please note: Your video must be submitted by Wednesday of this session so that your classmates may give you proper feedback in time.
