In this 7-page paper (abstract 150 – 200 word double-spaced on separate page). Students will summarize an existing body of literature concerning the topic that they will focus upon when they begin their group Program Evaluation Proposal with their Program Evaluation Team (PET). This INDIVIDUAL literature review assignment will focus upon what prior research tells us about this phenomenon. What methods have been employed and for which populations? Indicate what the literature offers regarding different theoretical orientations and points of view. What does prior writing in the areas of research, theory, policy, and practice have to say about the topic? How is current opinion divided (if it is)? Is there agreement all the way around or disagreement/different points of view based upon research? Students must use professional sources of information in their review of the literature (peer reviewed), APA format, use 12-pitch font, have 1-inch margins, and a reference list. Abstract, title page, reference pages, graphs, appendices do not count toward final page count.
