The operational briefing should discuss in detail, your entire operational plan as well as the responsibilities and roles of the assets
and individuals used in the detail. Upon reviewing your document/presentation, the reader/reviewer should have a clear understanding of what the overall plan of operation is as well as at least one contingency plans of operation for each key element of the plan. The reader/viewer should additionally understand the primary and secondary roles and responsibilities of the Security Personnel involved in the operation (what they need to do and a basic understanding of how they need to do it) as well a minimum of one contingency plan of action (duties, responsibilities and courses of action) for each assigned position. Ensure your submission includes a brief threat briefing as well as an overview of the event site, primary and secondary ingress and egress routes, key locations of operations, communication procedures, vulnerabilities/threats identified as well as individuals and locations of concern, medical resources and their location and capabilities, hard rooms, supplemental resources (including equipment, security personnel and first responders) and other pertinent information needed to ensure a successful operation.
