The approach to Helen Pearsons research was to take a group of children, for example, those born in a particular year and trace the life of a generation in detail. From the information received, Helen Pearson concluded that families who are planning the birth of a child should have financial opportunity for that (TedEd, 4:50-5:00). This is necessary for the child to grow and develop effectively and successfully. That is, according to tests and studies, children whose parents do not have the opportunity to invest in development are much less successful than those whose parents have financial capabilities.

The most informative conclusion about human development from the study was that children cannot thrive without parental inclusion. Naturally, if parents have the financial opportunity, they can give their child a better education, additional opportunities for growth, etc. (Santrock, 2022). In addition, children need their parents to be morally involved in their development and improvement since it is this interest of parents in academic performance that pushes children to succeed at school, university, and throughout later life. It was informative because everything depends not only on the child themselves but also on what kind of participation the parents take in their lives. It is the active involvement of parents in the life of children that allows us to achieve significant results.

Probably, this study will not be able to answer the question of whether the success of a child depends only on what opportunities parents have. It is necessary to conduct a study of children in similar conditions and see what results in each of them will achieve. Only after researchers can determine whether there is a direct dependence of childrens development on parents money will it be possible to get an answer about how much the financial component plays or does not play its role.
