Many people find it necessary to take a shower once a day, either in the morning or at night. Sometimes, a person can repeat the same procedure several times per day, depending on the day, chosen activities, and personal preferences. Although not all dermatologists recommend taking a shower every day, there are no hard-and-fast rules to be followed (Slawek, 2017). Therefore, instead of focusing on numbers and shower appropriateness, one should focus on the details of this wonderful sensual experience.

As soon as a tap is turned on, a considerable amount of water touches the skin with different speeds and effects. In addition to a number of cleaning effects and the possibility to wash off the dirt of the day or night, taking a shower presupposes a high-quality massage of the body and the head. Without paying attention to the details of shower-taking, a person does not think about the choice of an appropriate shower gel or other techniques that may facilitate and improve the quality of washing. A bar of ordinary soap and a wisp are the common components of the procedure. They are used to lather the body, remove unnecessary dirt, and rinse. However, when I am interested in taking a shower, I may spend hours to buy the necessary equipment and enjoy every moment.

When the first drops touch the body, I feel a sense of unbelievable relief that a new stage of my life begins. From a psychological perspective, water takes off my memories, pain, and concerns, at least for a moment. Physiologically, I try to massage every area of the body, including the head, breathe in the aroma of the chosen shower gel, and try to make sure the water is not too hot. Finally, my hand instinctively reaching a towel, the shower is turned off, and the procedure is over.
